John, you read that right: 6 young people were just arrested outside VP Harris' LA home. 

Last night, in the face of the escalating climate crisis, dozens of Sunrise volunteers slept in front of her home to demand that Biden declare a climate emergency and use every tool at his disposal to stop this imminent threat.

In 2019, VP Harris called the climate crisis an emergency. She backed the Green New Deal. Young people are asking her, where are you now?

Climate change is at our doorstep. Homes are flooding, we’re breathing in toxic air, people are dying. Millions are staring down another summer of deadly hurricanes, floods, and heatwaves.

We’re calling on President Biden to declare a climate emergency and use his powers as President to do what Congress isn’t willing to do: take bold action to protect people from climate disasters and stop the climate crisis.
