CHEYENNE - The Wyoming State Board of Career and Technical Education (SBCTE) and the State Board of Education (SBE) will meet virtually at 8:00 a.m. on April 18.?
The board will convene as the SBCTE to take action on the revised State Perkins V Plan. Recommended revisions to the plan can be seen here.??
The board will reconvene as the SBE to review public comment and take action on Chapter 1 Rules on Certificate of Completion Requirements, and Chapter 10 Rules on Content and Performance Standards.
The board will hear an update on the Charter School Authorizing Board and information from the UW Literacy Research Center and Clinic. Wyoming's Teacher of Year and educators working in the area of disciplinary literacy will also provide presentations.
All SBE meetings are open to the public. Attendees may join the meeting virtually by registering in advance here. After registering, participants will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
