As we dive head-first into our second quarter of the year, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the outpouring of support we have seen for our movement.

The generosity of the donors on this grassroots team enables me to keep fighting on the campaign trail. And soon, I hope to bring this fight to the halls of Congress, where I’ll work on lowering costs for Long Islanders, defending reproductive rights, protecting our environment, ending senseless gun violence, and more.

My combined experiences as a scientist, educator, and nonprofit leader in the community mean I have a truly fresh perspective to bring to Washington, and a competitive edge against my extreme, out-of-touch opponents. It’s crucial that we keep our momentum strong through November — but that’s going to take resources.

I won’t exaggerate and say your donation will “make or break” this campaign – I don’t believe in running a campaign based on fear-mongering. The truth is, every contribution, big or small, really does help fuel our movement from the ground up.
