A Message from Congresswoman Sherrill

Dear Friends,

I am writing to share exciting news: I have secured federal funding to complete 15 Community Projects to improve quality of life in New Jersey’s 11th District!

Being responsive to the concerns of my constituents is a top priority for me and guides my work in Congress. Yet too often I hear frustration that our federal tax dollars do not make it back to help New Jerseyans with their most pressing needs. That’s why I fought hard to secure nearly $16 million in funding for projects that will bring our tax dollars back to NJ-11 and improve communities across our congressional district.

These projects will help make North Jersey a safer, more affordable place to live and raise a family. From bolstering efforts to combat auto thefts and mitigate flooding to updating community centers and preserving our open spaces, these 15 Community Projects address some of the most critical needs I hear about from local leaders and residents – all without raising local taxes.

Keep reading to learn more about some of the projects that may be coming to your community soon!

Be sure to follow my Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Twitter accounts for more updates on these exciting projects.

Sincerely,

Rep. Mikie Sherrill's signature

Member of Congress
