Tax Day is not anyone’s favorite day of the year, but this year hopefully your pocket feels a bit fuller because of Gov. Lamont’s continued leadership and recognition of Connecticut residents' need for tax relief.

For the first time in decades, Governor Lamont and state Democrats cut the state income tax. They also increased the earned income tax credit and eliminated the retirement income tax cliff. Democrats continue to work hard to put money back in the pockets of residents–in particular workers, families, and seniors.
These historic tax cuts are only possible because Connecticut voters like you support candidates who make a difference for those who need it most. And when we support fiscally responsible, socially conscious democratic candidates, we get fiscally responsible, socially conscious laws. We call that a win-win!
