Friend, our prayers continue to be with Israel in the wake of Iran’s attacks over the weekend.
First of all, Joe Biden telling Israel that it shouldn’t respond is both shameful and strategically wrong.
Imagine America being targeted with over 300 drones and missiles and another country telling us not to respond.
Second, Biden says he wants diplomatic solutions. I’ve got some suggestions:
—> Joe Biden is periodically giving Iran more than $10 billion in waived sanctions. He should rescind that immediately.
—> He should work with our European partners to immediately reimpose snapback sanctions on Iran. He’s refused to do this since he took office.
—> He should immediately enforce sanctions against Iran’s shipment of oil, most of which goes to Communist China.
All of this would immediately put Iran on its back foot.
Joe Biden says he stands with Israel, but he’s put more pressure on Israel than Hamas and he’s been appeasing Iran since Barack Obama was president.
Which means we must put pressure on him to do the right thing, day in and day out. That’s what I intend to continue doing.

Meet Tom Cotton
Tom Cotton was born and raised on his family’s cattle farm in Arkansas, served as an Army infantry officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is fighting for working Americans in the U.S. Senate.
The tragic attacks of September 11, 2001 occurred during Tom’s final year of law school and changed his life’s trajectory.
After clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and spending a short time in private law practice, he joined the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, spending nearly five years on active duty.
Between his two combat tours he served as a platoon leader with the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery, the unit responsible for military honors funerals.
Tom’s military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab.
In the U.S. Senate, he’s fighting the tough battles for Arkansans and Americans, and delivering real results. He knows that only the strong can survive in a dangerous world, and he’s building a movement to make America strong again.
