We'd love to always be with our kids, but sometimes, it's just not possible. Sometimes our
children are home alone.
And sometimes, when they are, the unexpected happens. I wrote an article today about a scary experience my own daughter had when she was ten. (Read it here).
That was what inspired me to begin writing down instructions for the various things that my children might need to know if anything occurred while I was at work and they were home by themselves. They referred to these instructions often, and other parents liked the idea so much that they made their own printouts.
