RPA Weekly Recap | April 15, 2024 Governor Sanders Delivers Her First State of the State Address Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday touted her major accomplishments during her first 15 months as governor and called on state lawmakers to enact her proposed general revenue budget. "Compared to last year's inaugural address, today is a bit more low-key. But what today lacks in fanfare, we make up for it in substance. Last year, I made promises. This year, I'm reporting results." Governor Sanders said in her first State of the State address on the opening day of the state's eighth fiscal session. A new report outlining how Biden campaign donations are funding his legal fees is only the latest example of their rank hypocrisy. What you need to know: According to Axios, the Democrat National Committee — which raises money in conjunction with the Biden campaign — has “paid more than $1.5 million to lawyers or firms representing Biden” in his classified documents scandal. More than $1 million of the cash went to the LLC of Bob Bauer — whose wife, Anita Dunn, is a top taxpayer-funded staffer in the Biden White House. Spending money on legal fees has become a frequent line of attack from both the DNC and the Biden campaign: “We are not spending money on legal bills,” said Biden Finance Chair Rufus Gifford (4/6/24). “Only a con man and grifter … would be so brazen as to take campaign donors’ money to pay his mounting legal bills,” said DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd (3/21/24). “They are paying Donald Trump’s legal bills … you are knocking it out of the park,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison (3/12/24). “I’m not going to … pay the exorbitant legal fees for our nominee,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison (2/20/24). If Democrats didn’t have hypocrisy, they’d have nothing at all. The bottom line: The DNC covered Biden’s legal fees during the special counsel's probe into his handling of classified documents last year. Rules for thee but not for me should be the official motto of the Democrat Party.   Stop the Abortion Amendment You can help stop the abortion amendment by joining the Pray Away Campaign by clicking the image below, or scanning the QR code, and by declining to sign the petition.   Presented Without Comment   Republican Party of Arkansas | 1201 W. 6th St, Little Rock, AR 72201 Unsubscribe [email protected] Update Profile | Constant Contact Data Notice Sent by [email protected] powered by Try email marketing for free today!
