As draconian laws about women’s bodies continue to be written by rooms full of men, the stakes for women are higher than they’ve been in decades. We are living in a critical time to elect women to the rooms where decisions are being made.

According to the Center for American Women and Politics:

❌ Men account for 73% of elected U.S. leaders and representatives, and that number has not really moved in four years. These are the people passing abortion bans across the country.

❌ Women only account for 24% of candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives, 18.3% of U.S. Senate candidates, and 21.7% of candidates for Governor.

❌ The number of women candidates running for the U.S. House is down by 21.6% since 2022.

❌ 14 congresswomen have announced that they are not running for re-election to their current seats in Congress. Nine congresswomen have announced their retirements from Congress with no intention of running for other public offices.

This means that the U.S. is very likely to have fewer women in office next year than we have today, which would reverse all of the important progress we’ve made since 2018 – unless we do something to stop this trend.

Our candidates are smart, qualified women running for offices up and down the ballot from coast to coast. In many cases, these women are running against anti-choice incumbents who are responsible for sponsoring bills that would restrict women’s autonomy over their own bodies. We’re working to unseat these sexist leaders.

We are proud to be supporting these fiercely pro-choice women running in 2024. During this make-or-break election year, while abortion rights are on the line like never before, our candidates are running to shatter glass ceilings, protect abortion access, and advocate for the safety of ALL Americans.
