John, this Tax Day it’s important to remember what our government is all about: Working for you.

But the GOP continues to waste your time and money playing politics and wreaking havoc on our basic government functions. Sign my petition if you agree: It’s time Republicans stop wasting your hard earned money.

Here’s just a few ways extremists in Washington are throwing your dollars down the drain:

• They’re running sham impeachment trials against the president and his cabinet secretaries.
• They’re refusing to bring bipartisan bills to the floor for a vote — putting us on track to become one of the LEAST productive Congresses in the history of this country.
• They’re giving corporate billionaires tax breaks while refusing to give hardworking families much needed relief.
