Dear Friend,

As your representative, one of the most fulfilling parts of my role is showcasing the talent and potential of students in the Sixth District. Read on to learn about two upcoming programs from our office for Minnesota students…

Our office has begun accepting submissions for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. Each year we are amazed by the talent displayed by young artists in the Sixth District. The competition offers participants the chance to win a trip to Washington, D.C. to see their artwork showcased in the halls of Congress.

More details about the competition can be found on our website, or you can call our District Office in Otsego at (763) 241-6848 for additional information. High school artists from the Sixth District are encouraged to apply. Submissions may include past school projects and other previous works. All entries must be submitted to our office in Otsego by April 19th at 5:00 pm!

Our Young Women’s Leadership Program has been connecting present and future leaders from across Minnesota since 2016. We are fortunate to have many distinguished women leaders in our community whose advice can greatly benefit young women as they consider their post-graduation opportunities.

We are now accepting registrations for the 2024 session of this program. It provides young women in the Sixth Congressional District with guidance and mentorship from female leaders as they prepare for their future.

This year’s program will consist of three summer sessions covering topics including women in media, public service, and law enforcement. For more information and to apply for the 2024 session, visit our website.

Sincerely,
