John, Even though Libertarians have led the charge on drug decriminalization for decades, 4/20 has historically been a low earning “holiday” for the party. We’ve been in full support of your right to choose what you use since our 1971 founding. Ending the Drug War is a crucial component of restoring Liberty. But when it comes to raising money on the issue, sometimes Libertarians are too busy celebrating the holiday to contribute to a fundraiser. Last year we challenged you to up the ante and donate more than 2022. You provided an epic response, getting us higher than we’ve ever been before. This year, we’re challenging you again to surpass that record high and get us over the $12,000 mark. We are challenging you to put this historic obstacle in the dust by raising record amounts!
