Let's Take A Stand

Dear John,

In these difficult times, our nation -- our families -- need leadership and a voice of reason to provide direction and restore people's hope.

While America continues to deal with the coronavirus crisis, Family Research Council is honored to serve you by bringing a biblically balanced perspective on the latest developments and advocating for faith, family, freedom.

Sadly, we know the Left will "never let a crisis go to waste" and will use this time to try to push their agenda and undermine biblical truth.

But you can count on FRC to continue standing up for God's design for the family as we keep you informed.

As states coast to coast issue shelter-in-place policies, some families with young children are tuning in to educational shows -- including Sesame Street.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be.

If you or your children learned letters, numbers, and shapes from Sesame Street in years past, I'm sorry to report that today, the long-running children's program has other subjects on its agenda.

On January 30, social media posts announced that cross-dressing LGBT activist and actor Billie Porter would be the featured guest star on a future episode of the show. Porter was shown wearing a "tuxedo dress" -- promoting the LGBT lifestyle with colorful puppets and songs.

Brokenness in our families has led to an endless parade of shocking headlines over the last year: drag queen story times, boys identifying as female and competing in girls' sports, and Christian-owned businesses caving to activists' insistence they support only LGBT-affirming charities.

Rejecting the good of the sexes, our culture seeks to confuse and counterfeit God's blueprint for marriage and family.

If you are alarmed, take heart! Family Research Council is working to bring a solution to this rampant problem and bring hope to families all across America.

FRC's Stand Courageous initiative equips men to be the husbands and fathers God calls them to be. And this program is already reaching thousands of men!

If you want to shine a light rather than simply curse the darkness, can you join us in supporting FRC's vital work, including Stand Courageous?

SUPPORT THE MISSION

We cannot change the direction of our nation through public policy alone. While the battles FRC fights here in Washington and state capitols around the country are critically important, we are wrestling with the ripple effects.

The common source for many of the problems we see in our culture is the decline of the American family.

Regardless of what feminists and others on the Left may claim, the truth is: families thrive when men are spiritually strong and emotionally and physically engaged with their families.

Stand Courageous provides an opportunity for men to receive a father's blessing along with resources to sustain them.

Following key sessions at our first Ohio conference, dozens of men came forward for ministry times... especially to receive prayer and a father's blessing and affirmation. When General Boykin invited the men to turn around and bless their sons who were in attendance, the altar area was filled!

Some men surrendered their lives to the Lord -- for the first time, or in rededication. One father wrote to us afterward: "This has changed me. I see a new path I can succeed on with my wife and children. Never heard a message like this before."

Our team, which includes veterans, athletes, and pastors, has ambitious plans for Stand Courageous.

While our live events are paused during the current coronavirus situation, Stand Courageous is more than a conference. We're producing online resources including a series of coaching videos on powerful truths... and that's just the start.

Will you consider a gift to help FRC continue our mission to serve America's families?

Help FRC Reach More Men For Christ

Already we see God working through this program.

Our nation needs men to be men -- tough with compassionate strength, bent toward justice without compromise, locking arms, and standing. We need to be the men God created us to be: warriors for what is right, true, and just.

Where we have strayed, God loves us enough not to leave us as we were. "As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him," says Psalm 103:13.

Thank you for your faithful support of FRC, especially during this difficult season. Your ongoing partnership has enabled us to begin this new and necessary initiative while we continue our work to advance your values in the halls of government, in the media, and around the nation. We are committed to be a good steward of your gifts.

As we continue praying for you and your family, please also join us in prayer for America and for wisdom for President Trump as he leads our nation.
