Hi, it’s Jasmine Crockett, the Democrat representing Texas’ 30th Congressional District.

Folks, it’s like dé ja vu all over again in the House of Representatives.

After Matt Gaetz torpedoed Kevin McCarthy’s speakership and plunged the House into weeks of unprecedented chaos, I thought I had seen it all.

But Marjorie Taylor Greene had just one thing to say to that: Hold my beer.

She just filed a motion to vacate against Speaker Mike Johnson, and is now threatening to throw Congress into chaos once again.

It’s absurd. The American people deserve better than the political theater that Republicans are subjecting them to.

The American people deserve a Congress that will fight to reduce health care costs, protect reproductive rights, create jobs, invest in infrastructure, and more — AKA, everything Democrats did when we held power.
