Election season is in full swing here in Texas! Ahead of next month’s May 28th primary runoff election, we wanted to make sure you’re updated on labor-endorsed runoff candidates and the voting timeline.
The Texas AFL-CIO COPE has endorsed this list of candidates in the runoff.
Early voting takes place Monday, May 20th to Friday, May 24th.
Not everyone has a runoff, as all statewide nomination contests were resolved in March. But if you do, the likelihood of a low turnout magnifies the importance of your vote.
With so much on the line for our public schools, our jobs, and our working families in 2024, we need to do everything we can to vote, urge our family members to vote, and inspire our community to support pro-worker candidates.
