First, the good news: Our campaign is funded by a record number of individual donations made by people from all backgrounds and from all communities — almost all of these donations coming from working people united in their desire for change. Meanwhile, poll after poll shows us leading against Kari Lake. Now, the bad news. The average donation to our campaign has slipped from $40, to $30, now all the way down to $21 this month. It’s a refreshing change for people sick of the role money plays in politics, but we haven’t had the number of donations so far in March to reach our goals. Not great. So we have two options: First, either we need lots and lots of donations to help us reach our goals. Or, we need people to chip in just a bit more than they normally would. Normally we ask people who haven’t given to our Senate campaign to contribute $3. But today, we need to ask you to do a bit more, if you can. Will you? For Ruben? For this race? For a good vote in the Senate for the next six years? Can you please split $20 between Ruben Gallego’s campaign for Senate in Arizona and No Dem Left Behind? Our goals are not arbitrary, they are set to reach what we need to win this race. |
