Jack, sign the petition to Congress: Fund the Affordable Connectivity Program and keep the internet accessible for low-income households.
SIGN THE PETITION
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) stands as a vital bridge over the digital divide, offering essential internet access to millions of low-income households nationwide, including a significant number in tribal lands where connectivity is desperately needed.
Right now, over 22 million low-income American households are at risk of losing internet access starting this month if Congress doesn’t move quickly and renew funding for the ACP. The results of not renewing funding for the ACP will be devastating for vulnerable people and communities.
Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to bring the ACP to a floor vote despite bipartisan support and the high enrollment rates in his district, which indicates a clear demand for and reliance on the program. His inaction is unacceptable.
Our commitment to digital equity, economic stability, and the educational and professional advancement of all citizens hinges on continuing the ACP. By ensuring its funding, Congress will bridge the digital divide and reinforce the foundation of our nation's future in the digital age.
Sign the petition to Congress: Fund the Affordable Connectivity Program and keep the internet accessible for low-income households.
