John, I needed to share this update out of Nevada right away:

FIRST: Political experts predicted that Senate control would likely come down to Nevada, just like in the last midterms – and CNN analysts ranked me as one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection. 

THEN: Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate jumped into this race to flip our state red – and he immediately outraised me within the first week of launching his campaign.

NOW: After polls showed me neck and neck with my GOP opponent for months, The Cook Political Report just DOWNGRADED my race from "Lean Democrat" to a "Toss Up."

John, the only way I can fight back against the GOP, surge ahead, and protect this seat is with grassroots support from folks like you. But with time running out before tonight's mid-month deadline, we're still short of our $20,000 goal.

That's why I'm humbly asking you: Please, will you rush $5 or more right now to help me reach this mid-month deadline, keep Nevada blue, and defend the Senate for Democrats?
