Iran Attack on Israel Sparks Global Response |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
On Saturday, startled Americans watched as news anchors broke into their regular programming for a special report: Iran had begun a full-scale attack on Israel. After decades of using terrorist proxies like Hezbollah and the Houthis, Tehran took direct aim at the Jewish nation for the first time in 40 years, launching more than 300 missiles and drones at its enemy to the east. |

Bidenomics Inflate-and-Spend Policies Are Penny Bad, Pound Foolish |
by Joshua Arnold |
Under a metal standard, inflation is caused by bad pennies. Under the Biden standard, inflation is a bad penny, in that it keeps turning up. In fact, nearly two years after inflation peaked in the summer of 2022, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported Wednesday that inflation is still chugging along at nearly twice the Federal Reserve's target rate. Not only does the Biden administration not understand inflation's cumulative burden on workers and families, they don't seem to understand the economic phenomenon at all. |

Johnson Gets Crucial Reinforcement from Trump: 'I Stand with the Speaker' |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
In some ways, the two men who shared a Mar-a-Lago stage on Friday couldn't be more different. For starters, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) made the trek to Florida with his job on the line, while Donald Trump enjoys a level of popularity that continues to perplex the liberal media. And while the former president and new speaker have butted heads on a number of issues (FISA, most recently), there seems to be a mutual respect among the two leaders that just might give Johnson the cover he needs to survive the next seven months. |

'This Week On The Hill': Tony Perkins Talks Faith with Speaker Mike Johnson |
by S.A. McCarthy |
On Saturday morning, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins helmed the "maiden voyage" of Salem Radio Network's newest program "This Week On The Hill," featuring U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) as the show's inaugural guest. The two Louisiana conservatives discussed, among other things, the role that Christian faith plays in American politics - from guiding legislation to holding the Republican Party together to ending abortion. |

The Left's Plan to Sabotage Talk Radio and Local News |
by Ben Johnson |
For its nearly universal control over the news-industrial complex, the Left has failed to penetrate the one and only media format dominated by conservatives: talk radio. Despite repeated liberal incursions into the medium, from Mario Cuomo to Tom Daschle to Air America, the Left cannot make a showing. Now, the Left has launched a series of deceptive websites and bought up talk radio outlets - apparently in hopes that, where persuasion failed, cold hard cash may prevail. Enter George Soros - and his bank account. |

Lawmakers, FBI Director Warn of CCP's Vast Cyberwarfare Campaign |
by Dan Hart |
In the wake of House subcommittee hearings this week on threats coming from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the FBI and lawmakers are warning of the cybersecurity threat that the CCP poses to U.S. infrastructure. Over the last year, the size and scope of the CCP's cyberwarfare tactics have begun to come to light, which U.S. officials have publicly admitted to being stunned by. |

EU Politicians Call for 'Fundamental Right' to Abortion |
by S.A. McCarthy |
The European Union's political class is once again promoting abortion. In a largely symbolic move, the European Parliament voted on Thursday to approve a resolution declaring that the "right to abortion constitutes a fundamental right" and calling on member states to completely decriminalize abortion. |

Biden Launches Pro-Abortion Ad Campaign in Arizona while Republicans Scramble to Respond |
by S.A. McCarthy |
The Biden campaign is launching a series of pro-abortion ads in Arizona ahead of a November ballot initiative to enshrine a "right" to abortion in the Grand Canyon State's constitution. In the "Power Back" ad, President Joe Biden himself addresses voters. "Because of Donald Trump, millions of women lost the fundamental freedom to control their own bodies," Biden intones. "The question is - if Donald Trump gets back in power, what freedom will you lose next? Your body and your decision belong to you, not the government, not Donald Trump." At the 30-second ad's close, the president pledges, "I will fight like hell to get your freedom back." |

Florida Voters Back Abortion Amendment and Trump |
by S.A. McCarthy |
A new poll is reporting that nearly half of voters in the Sunshine State plan to support a constitutional amendment guaranteeing a "right" to abortion. An Emerson College survey released on Thursday found that 42% of Florida voters intend to vote "Yes" on a "Amendment 4" this November, enshrining a right to abortion into the state's constitution. Twenty-five percent of voters intend to vote "No," and 32% of voters are unsure which way they will vote. The ballot initiative requires at least 60% support in order to pass. |

Pediatrician Responds to Damning Review on Gender Identity Treatment: 'I Remain Hopeful' |
by Sarah Holliday |
On the heels of a massive, groundbreaking study in the Netherlands, another 388-page report by Dr. Hilary Cass, former president of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, is throwing more cold water on the push to medically transition children. The Cass Review, as it's being called, was an "independent review of gender identity services for children and young people" that found "remarkably weak evidence" that "gender-affirming care," such as the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, results in anything positive. |

Standing Firm in the Face of Persecution: Look to God, Not the World |
by Sarah Holliday |
What happens when we become fearful? What happens when the church becomes sensitive and vulnerable to slander from the world? How are we supposed to navigate through these muddied waters of hatred and hostility? Being a believer is the highest calling one could endeavor, but it is no simple one. It's a call to life and life abundant, but it's also a call to suffering, sacrifice, and, in numerous cases, solitude. |
