Hi there, friend, it's Spike from Team Debbie!

My mom is running for Senate, and that makes me just about the luckiest pup ever. I've met a gazillion new people, and ALL of them love me. I've gotten so many extra pets from mom's team. And I'm even becoming an influencer on my mom's social media! (Still waiting for Chewy to make me a brand ambassador...)

Yep, being the candidate's pup is a pretty sweet gig. But there's a lot of other good stuff about my mom running for Senate.

My mom is the kindest, most hard-working human I know — not to mention, she gives the best pets (don't tell Dad). She'll always make time to take me on a walk or play fetch, even after she's spent the whole day meeting voters and hearing about the issues that matter to them. And once she gets to Washington, she's going to do everything in her power to fight for the stuff that really matters to families (and pups like me).

But to get all the way to the Senate, she's going to need help from people like you! Will you chip in $5 today to help my mom flip Florida blue and bring better leadership (and more treats for all of us!) to Florida?

I know my mom will be the best senator ever — for dogs and their humans! That guy named Rick is really barking up the wrong tree with his paw-licies, but my mom is ready to tackle every issue to undo his mess. She'll protect wild places like the Everglades to make sure that we can enjoy the natural beauty of Florida for generations to come. And she'll fight climate change to save coastal communities and defend our planet. I like to consider myself an outdoorsman of sorts, so that's what matters most to me. 

But whether it's lowering health care costs, creating more affordable housing, or restoring reproductive rights, she's always going to fight for what's right, even when it gets ruff. (Ok, there's one exception: I still haven't convinced her to ban mail carriers. She claims that the USPS is a "vital public institution." I know, I know ... not a good look. But don't worry, I'm making a very strong, very vocal argument against them six days a week.)

Differences aside, I'm all in to send my mom to the Senate. If you are too, will you chip in $5 or more before midnight to help her hit her $600,000 mid-month fundraising goal? I'm not very good at math, but it sounds like a big number ... and I keep hearing her say this is a really important one so it'd be super great if you could chip in today!
