Team,

This week, I made a bipartisan push to help small broadband providers deliver discounted or free internet service to low-income families and those in rural areas during this time.

Internet access isn’t just nice to have during this pandemic — it’s necessary — to support telehealth, student learning and jobs. That’s why I helped introduce the Keeping Critical Connections Act.

Students who are finishing up their school year at home need to be able to connect to online classes. Employees who are working from home are counting on broadband to help them do their jobs. And folks are relying on the internet to help them access care through telehealth.

I’m glad to work in a bipartisan way to help Minnesotans stay connected during this time. But I want to know my grassroots supporters are with me on this.

I need 10,000 grassroots supporters (like you!) to demand internet access for all communities and send a powerful message back to Washington. Will you add your name to my petition before midnight?

We must fight so that all communities have the resources they need to get through this crisis.

Thank you so much for your help. It means so much to me.
