The Second Amendment established early on that Americans had the right to bear arms – and many have chosen to do so. Meanwhile, most of the world looks at the US and wonders why we have so many guns.

Gun violence is higher than it ever has, which is why there are many politicians who have talked about “coming for your guns.” They believe that taking the Second Amendment away from law-abiding private citizens will make the US a safer place.

However, we all know that the criminals will never hand over their guns. That means that the criminals will have guns, and the law-abiding private citizens won’t.

Gun rights are likely to change at some point, especially if the violence continues at the rate it has in recent years.
