[[link removed]]PETA VICTORY! RELIEF FOR BIG CATS AS DCWT REPORTEDLY CLOSES
[{EXTERNAL_URL~[link removed]}]
Following a PETA lawsuit, the last tigers held at Dade City's Wild Things (DCWT)
were sent to an accredited sanctuary in Colorado. Our lawsuit established that
DCWT—which had acquired tiger cubs from big-cat exhibitor "Joe Exotic"—violated
the Endangered Species Act by prematurely separating tiger cubs from their
mothers and using them in public encounters.

PETA's fieldworkers are on the road working to ensure that every animal in the
poverty-stricken North Carolina and Virginia communities that they serve has

Just like humans, other animals don't want to be killed, and eating them continues to put human lives at risk. Meat companies and slaughterhouses should've taken

Levi's continues to use cows' skin for the patches on its jeans, even though it
knows that animal leather is not only a cruel industry but also three times
worse for the environment than vegan leather. No animal wants to be killed for
fashion or any other reason.

Humans aren't the only ones at risk of catching COVID-19. Although the pathogen
manifests differently in monkeys, they are still susceptible to contracting the
novel coronavirus infection that's gripping the world right now, and they're
being used in experiments in a primate lab in Washington state—ground zero for
the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S.
