This week, the world continued to deal with the devastating effects of both the Coronavirus pandemic and resulting economic shutdown. Yesterday, Jenny Beth was on a conference call with Vice President Mike Pence to discuss the administration’s updated guidelines, which we would like to share with you.
Originally experts believed that we had 15 days to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, but now according to the Trump Administration, experts believe we have 30 days to slow the spread of Coronavirus.
These guidelines, released March 31, outline how you can help slow the spread in the next 30 days. And, let's be clear, the American people are making incredible sacrifices to slow the spread. We want to lift up and honor all of our fellow Americans and the sacrifices they are still making.
As the American people continue to do their part, so too has the scientific community. Not only the brave healthcare workers fighting on the frontlines treating the sick, but the researchers actively working towards an effective treatment and cure.
In the past week, alone, we have seen tremendous strides in these areas.
Emergency tests are now being run to help determine the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug being used to treat the Coronavirus. Initial reporting is showing positive signs that this, along with azithromycin, is drastically reducing the lethality of the deadly virus. An infectious disease expert said on Fox News earlier this week, that this drug is a “absolute game changer,” claiming its discovery and deployment is “the beginning of the end of the pandemic.”
Also, researchers at the University of Pittsburgh are reportedly making great strides towards developing a vaccine. In a report released yesterday, researchers announced that they have produced a vaccine, that when tested in mice, has produced antibodies specific to the Coronavirus. While this is phenomenal news, this is just one of many stories of researchers actively working to find a vaccines.
Now, more than ever, President Trump’s words ring clear and true in the midst of hard times,
“Strong and united, we will prevail...”

A message from some great tea party friends:
“Superior Defense Masks were created to defend the general public and essential employees, but leave the N95 masks for our critical frontline workers. We must protect our first responders and they need N95 masks. For the general public when we need to go out, we should be wearing a protective mask as the CDC has advised. The "First Responder" Defense Mask is our salute to our frontline healthcare workers and a call to STAND UNITED! The bold flag tells everyone that you love your country and stand united to defend her!”
