I just crunched the numbers ahead of our critical mid-month fundraising deadline, team — and as of 9am, we’re still $3,507 short of our can’t-miss $10,000 goal.

I’ll tell you what I told Congressman Suozzi in our finance meeting just now, team: We won’t win this race if we can’t replenish our resources in the wake of the special election.

I’m so proud of our work to win this seat in February, team — but it didn’t come cheap. And now, we risk playing catch up with National Republicans if we don’t step up our efforts.
