Dear Friend,

Chicago is in the midst of an historic surge in homeless and at-risk pets. Thanks to pet lovers like you, we have taken action to save these animals, and today I’m writing one last time to remind you how together we can save even more—by supporting the Chicago Animal Crisis Fund. This is the last weekend your donation will be doubled by the Ehlert Family Foundation's $25,000 matching gift.

Save Pets Like These ([link removed])
Euthanasia at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), the city impoundment facility, was up 22.7% last year. More than 2,500 animals were euthanized for the first time since 2016. Thanks to supporters like you, we stepped in to help. In 2023, PAWS transferred 42% more pets—695 more cats and dogs—from CACC than the year before. But our work is far from done.

The Chicago Animal Crisis Fund means PAWS Chicago will rescue even more pets from uncertain fates.

Please help today to take advantage of The Ehlert Family Foundation's $25,000 matching gift. Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000—but only through Sunday, April 14.
