Before diving into the world of politics, I took a chance, like so many small owners do, and opened Denver's very first brewpub, Wynkoop Brewing Company. At Wynkoop, we were known for our unique beers like the Timberland Pale and Sagebrush Stout, which we offered at just $2.25 per pint – a great deal compared to mainstream options!

Wynkoop was more than just a brewpub for me. It was a place where people with diverse viewpoints could come together, united by a shared love of good beer. We proved that there’s hardly anything that can’t be sorted out over a refreshing pint.

My decision to run for office was driven by a similar idea. It was about replicating that spirit of unity and collaboration from Wynkoop on a larger scale – bringing people together to make meaningful progress. And that's what we're committed to doing every day.
