Whitlow for Congress logo

Hi John,

Like millions of other Americans, I’m a parent thanks to in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Becoming a father changed me, and for the better. I believe it was God who granted me this chance to have a family. Now, I’m running for Congress to make sure that everyone has the same opportunity I did.

If far-right extremists like my opponent, MAGA Congressman John Carter, have their way, families like mine will become a thing of the past. If you agree that we need to defend against these anti-IVF extremists, please chip in $4 or more now. I will never allow folks like John Carter to take away our rights.

Need to read more about how I’ll defend against Republicans in Congress who want to ban IVF nationwide? Read on…

Trump’s allies in Congress — including my opponent, John Carter — are waging war on reproductive freedom.

They want to define human life as beginning at conception without any protection for IVF — a law that would not just ban abortion and several forms of birth control nationally, but would also subject all patients and doctors to crushing potential liability for IVF treatments.

125 House Republicans support banning IVF

If extremists in Congress like John Carter succeed?

If MAGA Republicans retain control of the House in November, bills like their ‘Life at Conception’ Act will just keep coming.

And just as we saw in Alabama early this year, hospitals, clinics, and doctors across the country will stop providing reproductive healthcare, including IVF treatments.

Practically overnight, the one in eight American couples who are affected by infertility would lose the option to have children through IVF. The 2% of U.S. births that result from IVF each year just wouldn’t happen. And millions of Americans would never experience the life-changing wonder that I had of becoming a parent.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth: "I warned that red states would come for IVF. And now, they have."

This isn’t what the American people want. But that won’t be enough to stop the MAGA agenda. It’s time we replaced folks like John Carter with people who take the word “Representatives” in “House of Representatives” more seriously.

That’s what I’m working to do. And anything you can contribute now will help me get one step closer to defeating John Carter in November.

This election, extremists like John Carter have put families like mine, and yours, under attack. We need to stand up for IVF, for contraception, for healthcare access, for reproductive freedom, and for leaders who actually represent us. That’s what I’ll do — because I know how we take care of our families matters a lot more than how we form them.

With gratitude,

“We take care of each other here in Texas, and we deserve leaders in Congress who can be trusted to do the same. That's why I'm ready to fight for our values in Congress and stand up for ALL Texans.”
