Here’s the situation - Texas Republicans are exploiting the coronavirus crisis to push their extreme agenda. Attorney General Ken Paxton banned abortion services during the crisis, threatening healthcare providers with criminal penalties and fines.
Instead of keeping us safe during the crisis, the Texas GOP is attacking women’s healthcare. This is one more reason why we must take back the Texas House. Republicans made their priorities clear - help us end total GOP control in Texas >>> [[link removed]]

A federal judge initially blocked the state's ban on abortions, but on Monday the highly conservative 5th Circuit Court of Appeals allowed the ban to continue.
