Friend, we don’t make a decision to drop $200,000 in digital ads lightly.

It’s a lot of money. It takes a lot of supporters to raise that much, and these emails are one of the single biggest sources of donations that VoteVets has.

But we knew we had to do something when we saw that Tim Sheehy in Montana couldn’t get his record straight on whether the bullet in his arm was from a war wound or an accidental discharge in the parking lot of a National Park.

Public service is a position of public trust. A Veteran like Tim Sheehy should know that.

That’s why we went online in Montana with our newest ad, “Self-Inflicted Wound.” You can watch it here:

Developer Tim Sheehy: too shady for Montana

Like we said, $200,000 is a pretty big buy. But as Veterans, we knew we had to call this out.

And in the fight for control of the U.S. Senate, we have to win in Montana.

It was a tough call. But we’re hoping you understand why we made it.

If you do, and if you want to see us continue to push back and take the fight to guys like Tim Sheehy, do you think you could help us cover a small amount of our ad buy?

Make a donation of $15 or whatever you can and help us keep these ads up. Would mean a lot for our chances in Montana.
