John, this week the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a near-total ban on abortion that dates back to 1864. This is a dark moment for reproductive rights in our country.

The draconian law makes abortion punishable by up to 2-5 years in prison, including no exceptions for rape or incest. Anyone who cares about women’s health should be outraged by this turn of events, John.

As someone who’s gone through miscarriages, this is deeply personal to me. I’m outraged at what this means for women in Arizona and across the country.

There’s only way to ensure that future generations of women can maintain the right to choose – we must protect abortion at the federal level.
