Dear John,

Sasha the meerkat is a victim of the mobile zoo industry.

Sasha was kept locked inside a small, dark cage. Hardly any light filtered into her prison and she was forced to sit in her own faeces. Her cramped home was just one of many cages stacked on top and around her. All of them held animals captive - some very sick and injured.

This was her life at the mobile zoo. This company exploited Sasha and her companions in the name of entertainment.

Thanks to a whistleblower, we were able to take action and get Sasha to safety. And the owner of this mobile zoo was eventually convicted of 34 offences under the Animal Welfare Act.

We are often contacted by whistleblowers, and in this case thank goodness we were! But it is only because of our kind supporters and our Freedom Champions that we can take these calls!
