Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) penned an op-ed calling on her colleagues to stand with our allies Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel.

In it Kim argues: "Deterrence is not divisible. American leadership on the world stage requires us to stand strong in our commitments toward our allies and partners. History has shown repeatedly that when the free world wavers, adversaries interpret this as a green light to attack." 

Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) celebrated the inclusion of two bills she authored in a bipartisan package that passed the House this week.

According to her office, "The Opioid Crisis Workforce Act (H.R. 6587) would improve information sharing and training for workers involved in the prevention and treatment of substance use and behavioral health disorders. Separately, the Investing in Digital Skills Act (H.R. 6631) would integrate digital literacy as a key element of adult education programs."

Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) reaffirmed her support for Israel following a trip to the communities that were destroyed as part of Hamas' October 7th terrorist attacks.

Ahead of the trip, Kiggans also criticized President Biden for "unilaterally deciding to send our own military members [to Gaza] to build a pier paid for by our taxpayers without including people in Congress. We represent those taxpayers."

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) introduced legislation designed to safeguard free speech on public campuses. The Students Bill of Rights Act of 2024 would "crack down on universities that receive federal funding but discriminate against students based on their viewpoint in a new attempt to protect free speech on college campuses."

Ernst's office said the senator decided to take action in light of the ongoing threats against the free expression of Jewish and pro-Israel students at colleges and universities across the country.
