Africa & Europe
We are praising God that a survivor in Ghana has been admitted to a technical college to study telecommunications! Pray for him as he settles in at school, and for his continued advocacy as he speaks out against trafficking.
Latin America
Praise God for the inauguration of two new offices and two waiting rooms designed for children and families at a police station in Peru. The new offices will be used for investigations associated with physical or sexual violence against women and children, and the waiting rooms will allow children to play, read and paint in a friendly environment as they wait for their mothers to file a report.
South Asia
Pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders in South Asia as they work on some high-level projects with the government. Many officials are turning their attention to local and national elections, so it’s harder to get their time and the approvals we need. Please pray for a breakthrough on this issue so we can move forward in the work of justice.
Asia Pacific
We pray for IJM’s network of care in the Philippines. As our work grows to combat the online sexual exploitation of children, it is critical that we rely on partners to help rescue and restore victims of exploitation. We pray for the deepening of relationships with partners of all kinds to help more victims and families throughout the Philippines as they heal from this abuse.
