Today, I officially filed for re-election in Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.

It has been the honor of my life to serve West Michigan in Congress. In 2022, we made history by flipping a 50-year Republican stronghold and electing the first pro-choice woman to represent this district.
National experts are calling this race a battleground for control of the House this year. It’s why national Republicans are targeting this district.
The most important issues facing our nation – curbing inflation, improving access to quality and affordable healthcare, voting rights, protecting a woman’s right to choose, and keeping our communities safe from gun violence – all depend on retaking the House majority, and that starts right here in our district.
