Happy Friday! I am thrilled to share some exciting updates and opportunities from our campaign as we continue to build momentum towards the upcoming DC primaries.
Fundraising Updates
On the fundraising front, we met our quarterly goal this week thanks to your generous donations! We're incredibly grateful for the 100+ new donors who believe in our campaign. This outpouring of support shows we're building a strong connection with DC residents.
Be Part of Our Campaign Story! On Monday, April 15, we are holding a photoshoot, and we would love for you to join us! Bring your family and friends, and let's make it a fun day.
I am honored to share that I have received the endorsement of the DC Voters for Animals and the National Association of Social Workers DC Chapter! These endorsements reflect the diverse range of concerns and issues I am passionate about, and I am grateful for the votes of confidence from these prominent organizations.
The endorsement from the NASW Metro DC Chapter, DC's largest social workers association, is a testament to our dedication to social work priorities. We are excited to build on this momentum and continue working to improve our community.
In particular, Max Broad, founder and Executive Director of DCVFA recognized our commitment to the welfare of animals, especially the often overlooked bully breed dogs. As a bully-breed dog owner, I understand how important our pets are to our families, and I am committed to advocating for legislation that will prohibit any kind of breed-based discrimination.

Finally, with the DC primaries less than two months away, we are gearing up for a busy campaign period. Many volunteer opportunities are available, from requesting yard signs and phone banking to door-knocking.
