We're shifting gears and we want to hear from YOU!
Dear John,
Happy Spring! We hope this message finds you well. Here at Equality Virginia, we are holding space for rest while also gearing up for the busy season ahead!
We are still celebrating the end of a successful General Assembly session, and we are preparing for the legislature to reconvene and consider the Governor’s vetoes and amendments next week. We’re spending time evaluating our current programs and deciding where we need to shift, and creating even more opportunities for you to share your thoughts with us, both in person and virtually.
With this upcoming iteration of advocacy programming, our goals are to create events and initiatives that:
*
Emphasize
and
prioritize
community
knowledge
and
expressed
needs
*
Are
flexible
and
adaptive
to
meet
the
ever-shifting
landscape
across
Virginia
*
Honor
the
need
for
rest,
sharing
capacity,
and
community
care
*
Encourage
connection,
networking,
and
relationship
building
*
Center
joy
and
celebration
of
our
wins
and
our
vibrant
communities!
As we continue to push towards equity and justice across the Commonwealth, we're excited to invite you to two upcoming virtual events aimed at empowerment, sharing experiences, and fostering connections with community members across the state. Read more about these events and sign up below!
