Friends, it’s Katie Porter.

When I leave Congress at the end of my term, we’re going to need a warrior in the U.S. House to continue standing up to big corporations and fighting for working people.

That person is Congressman Robert Garcia.

I’ve known Robert for many years and am proud to call him a friend. But most of all, I know that Robert has the grit and determination it takes to deliver for working families across the country.

[link removed] [[link removed]]Robert is new to Congress, but he’s not sitting on the sidelines waiting for his turn. He got right to work, unafraid to speak truth to power. Like me, he’s used his position on the House Oversight Committee to call out MAGA Republicans for their lies and inaction. He’s in Congress for the right reasons: to better the lives of his constituents and hold bad actors accountable—not to cash corporate PAC checks and curry favor with powerful people. Robert is exactly the type of lawmaker Californians deserve.

If Democrats are going to flip the House in November, we must hold Robert’s seat. Robert’s facing off against MAGA millionaire, John Briscoe, who is self-funding his campaign and will no doubt have the support of the extreme MAGA GOP behind him.

Robert is going to need your support to fight against GOP attacks. Since he doesn't accept a dime of corporate PAC money, he is relying on us to help him win this race.
