Last week, we asked what issues are most important to you as we look ahead to November. The results are in, and I wanted to share with you what this team had to say:

The top five priorities according to you include:

• Protecting reproductive rights
• Fixing our electoral system
• Ending gun violence
• Addressing the climate crisis
• Creating more jobs

The results of this survey help me set my priorities for serving this district.

As a mom, educator, and scientist, my approach to solving problems has always been rooted in facts, common sense, and hard work. And that’s the approach I’ll take when I get to Congress to enshrine reproductive freedom into law, improve our economy, fix our broken electoral system, get weapons of war off our streets, tackle the climate crisis head-on, and so much more.

Americans deserve leaders who prioritize the well-being of the people they serve over partisan agendas. That's why I'm committed to being the dependable leader that hard-working Long Islanders can rely on. I’m ready to tackle these issues — and more — in Congress and create real change for the folks in our district and across the country. But I’m not going to be able to win this race on my own.
