MONTANANS FOR TESTER

Hey John, hope you’re well.

It’s been too muddy to start planting the peas and spring wheat on the farm. But that’s okay, Mother Nature makes the rules and moisture's good for the ground.

Sharla and I have been preparing for planting season as much as we can. We’ve dusted off the equipment and I’ve calibrated the tractor. If we’re lucky, we’ll have a successful harvest in a few months.

I have been planting on the same farm for 46 years. Three generations of our family called this land home, and my work here is non-negotiable. It keeps me grounded and I think it makes me a better senator for Montana.

You learn the value of hard work and accountability growing up on the farm. Nothing will get done if you wait around for someone else to do the job. The key to a successful harvest is hard work during planting season, and John, we’re running this grassroots campaign the same way.

That’s why my team set a mid-month planting season goal to help us sow the seeds for a successful campaign. Fundraising this early helps us grow our grassroots strength on the ground.

And we’ll need it. Record-breaking amounts of outside spending are heading to Montana, and going up against their fundraising machine will be the toughest fight of my life. But I know we can win this thing if you step up and join us.

This planting season, we’re aiming for 10,000 grassroots supporters to chip in before our midnight deadline on Monday. I can’t win without grassroots support, so I’m counting on you, John. Will you donate $25 to sow the seeds of our campaign and help protect our Montana way of life in Washington?

Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue.

Just like in farming, you reap what you sow. If we put in the hard work now, I know we’ll be happy with the outcome on Election Day. Thank you.

—Jon
