Dear Friend of Knowledge,
Are you struggling with a difficult question in your life? Often, I find
myself in that position as well. It’s part of the human condition to be faced
with difficult situations, choices, and people.
We teach at Hillsdale College that we must carefully consider concepts such as
morality, ethics, happiness, courage, character, and justice when we face
difficult questions.
In the Nicomachean Ethics—the first book written on how best to live—Aristotle
argues that human happiness chiefly depends upon a person’s character, which is
formed by making good choices.
But good choices don’t come naturally. That’s why every student at Hillsdale
studies Aristotle. In fact, understanding Aristotle is so important to living a
good life that we’ve produced our online course,“Introduction to Aristotle’s
Ethics: How to Lead a Good Life.”
And now you can own the course on DVD, along with a special Hillsdale College
edition of Aristotle’sNicomachean Ethics, for personal study.
You’ll not only study what Aristotle says about the good life with Hillsdale
College President Larry P. Arnn, but you will also explore ways to put this
knowledge to work.

The DVD gives you a seat at the table in a seminar-style class like those here
on campus, and you’ll read from the same book the students are in the course.
In addition to the topics I’ve already mentioned, the course focuses on
subjects including:
* Aristotle’s Politics and the Nature of Man
* Deliberation and Choice
* Practical Judgment
* Contemplation and Action
Just consider what Rebecca, a free online course student, recently said: “I
have learned [through the Aristotle course] that every choice we make etches
into our soul.”
Make a good choice, and watch a special preview video of the course. Then
reserve your DVD and book today using this secure link:

After watching the preview, if you’re struggling with a thorny question, I
hope you’ll join Rebecca and many others by reserving your DVD of“Introduction
to Aristotle’sEthics”

along with its companion book today. Quantities of the DVD and book are
limited, so don’t wait too long to decide.
