Congratulations are in order as the Active Nottingham team has won their sixth consecutive RoSPA Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK?s longest-running Health and Safety industry awards.

Calm & Ladies Only
Victoria Leisure Centre features a dedicated *Functional Zone*, which also serves as a Ladies Only and Calm Functional Gym space during specific times of the day.
Situated on the ground floor, this area is ideal for enhancing overall fitness and toning, offering a range of cardiovascular, functional, and strength equipment to meet your workout requirements.
Experience a welcoming and relaxed environment while exercising at your own pace and comfort level, either alone or with friends.
The Calm Functional Gym is tailored for individuals who prefer a quieter setting, with reduced music volume, limited capacity for a more spacious feel, and a request for gym users to be considerate of noise levels and use headphones.
To reserve a session in a dedicated *Ladies Only Functional Gym* or *Calm Functional Gym*, access the Active Nottingham app, website, or consult a team member at Victoria Leisure Centre. Session timings vary throughout the day, so it's advisable to book in advance to secure your spot.
Please be aware that when the Functional Zone is not reserved for Ladies Only or Calm sessions, the space remains available for general use; simply look for the Gym & Functional Zone booking slots to utilise the area.
