Dear John, We hope you’re making plans to join us for the Oregon March for Life on Saturday, May 18. It’s so important to publicly stand up for Oregon’s most vulnerable – and we need everyone to get involved! That’s why Oregon Right to Life is inviting young people to dive into the pro-life movement by taking part in a friendly competition we call the March for Life Youth Challenge. What’s the competition about? The March for Life Youth Challenge is a way for young people to help spread the pro-life message far and wide by urging their family members, friends, youth groups, and communities to march for life. How do I get started? Gather together a group of young pro-life advocates: you can register your youth group or school, or bring your siblings or friends. Your group should be youth-focused, but you can also bring your parents or grandparents! How do groups register? Once you have your group, register online and submit your attendance numbers to [email protected] by May 16, 2024. For every 10 people in your group, you’ll receive one entry into the prize drawing. How do groups participate on the day of the March? Arrange to attend the Oregon March for Life at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem on May 18, 2024, with your group. Check in at the community outreach table before 2:00 p.m. to confirm your participation. Drawing winners will be announced during the program. What could my group win? The three winning groups will win a $500 donation to a pregnancy resource center of their choice. You’ll also win one scholarship to Launch, Oregon Right to Life’s annual pro-life leadership retreat for students ages 16-21! We can’t wait to see you and your pro-life community at the March for Life on May 18 as we continue to promote a culture of life in Oregon. Because everyone deserves an advocate, Lois Anderson PS. Did you know that 12 incredible young people took part in our annual pro-life leadership retreat for students over spring break?
