Right before legislators left session, extremists slipped a bill on the table showing their true allegiance – and it isn't pretty.
Far-right Kansas lawmakers are working to expand the power of election-denying Attorney General Kris Kobach by giving him the ability to suspend laws and rules for certain businesses.
Kansas extremists are doing everything they can to appease their special interest donors, and they have the Supermajorities to make it happen – which is why it's vital that the Kansas Democrats' grassroots coalition continues to show up.
That bill is an egregious overstep, John, and as the Kansas Democratic Party, it's up to us to push back on this kind of legislation.
