We have some exciting news to share here at Giffords Law Center! Two of the largest suppliers of ghost guns in the US will no longer be able to sell their products in Philadelphia, thanks to our lawsuit.

This is a huge victory for gun safety and for our litigation team, and your contribution means even more today—can you chip in to help us keep fighting the gun lobby?

Last July, alongside our co-counsel Hausfeld LLP, we sued the ghost gun companies Polymer80 and JSD Supply on behalf of the City of Philadelphia. Ghost guns are untraceable, undetectable firearms that skirt regulations and allow nearly anyone to access a gun—and they’re wreaking havoc in Philadelphia and other cities. 

Polymer80 and JSD Supply’s reckless business practices selling these dangerous weapons have undoubtedly contributed to the gun violence crisis. We’re proud to announce—thanks to the hard work of our attorneys—both companies we sued have agreed to settle. This means they will no longer be able to sell ghost guns in Philadelphia, and Polymer80 will also have to pay the city $1.3 million for the harm it’s caused.
