BREAKING from The New York Times: U.S. Postal Service Proposes Raising Stamp Prices Again
John: on Tuesday, USPS proposed an overall increase of nearly 8 percent on the price of postage – marking the FIFTH proposed price hike in the past two years!
This is just one part of Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s disastrous 10-year plan for the USPS, team, and it won’t stop here. We’re so frustrated that working families, seniors, and more Americans who rely on the Postal Service are paying the price for his failures!
That’s why today we’ve put together an emergency petition to the USPS Board of Governors – the only people that have the power to hold DeJoy accountable – to DEMAND that he finally be FIRED.

Let’s take a look at how we got here:
FIRST: Former President Donald Trump handpicked Louis DeJoy to take charge of the USPS, throwing the organization into disarray.
But even after widespread disapproval of his plans, AND an FBI investigation into his past crooked fundraising efforts, DeJoy REFUSED to resign as Postmaster General.
THEN: DeJoy began enacting his 10-year plan for the USPS by slowing mail delivery, closing hundreds of postal offices, and cutting more than 50,000 positions! But despite his promise that this would help the USPS break even in 2023, the institution LOST more than $6.5 billion AND expects to see a similar loss in 2024.
NOW: DeJoy has DOUBLED DOWN on his disastrous plan by raising the price of stamps for the fifth time in the past two years.
We can’t let Louis DeJoy continue to destroy this vital institution that American families depend on! We need to let the only governing body that can fire him know where we stand.
