Over the next seven months, you will read a lot of news about polling, insider information, and pundit talking points. We want you to remember: grassroots volunteers and donors across the country are fired up to defeat Trump and MAGA extremism. This community is doing that by reaching potential voters in these important months ahead of Election Day.
Right now is the time to harness our collective energy into having important conversations about the things that matter to voters in Swing Left Super States and our communities. Instead of scrolling through all this changing information, you can take action and make change yourself.
We can talk to our neighbors about the importance of protecting reproductive freedom at every level of our government, and that Democrats are the only party standing in the way of a national abortion ban. We can have face-to-face conversations about the future of affordable health care, Medicare, and social security, and remind voters that, given the chance, the GOP has threatened to roll back these lifesaving programs. Together, we can remind voters that in order to protect our democracy and expand voting rights, we have to defeat election deniers and elect pro-democracy Democrats at every level of our government who will secure our elections.
Together, we can send Trump back to Mar-a-Lago and secure a federal Democratic trifecta.

Channel anxiety into action and join fellow Swing Left volunteers to knock doors near you! The face-to-face conversations we have with potential voters today can have real staying power when it’s time to get to the polls. Several canvasses are happening now until Election Day, so find a canvass that works with your schedule. Transportation may be available, reach out to the event host to learn more.

If you have just a couple hours to spare each week, you can help defeat Republicans! Sign up for a phone bank shift or two to call potential voters and help them make a plan to vote. New to phone banking? Training is provided.

Donate to the April Impact Fund

Each month, our Political Team works in coordination with our partners on the ground to ensure your grassroots donations are going to the races where it’s needed most in order to win a Democratic trifecta in November.
This month’s Impact Fund supports President Joe Biden, Nevada Senator Jacky Rosen, Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey, Kirsten Engel (AZ-06), Josh Riley (NY-19), Curtis Hertel (MI-07), Rep. Download a batch of letters, fill them out whenever you have free time, then store the envelopes until the mailing window, October 1-29. Crash Course is a training that will give college students the skills to recruit fellow students to take high-impact volunteer action together, build a team, and host campus events. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with Swing Left staff and other college students across the country.
