John,

It’s true that abortion rights are under attack and we must continue to fight as hard as we can to ensure everyone has access to reproductive justice no matter what.

Donate now to fund our bold work towards this lofty goal.

But, it’s also true that the anti-abortion movement is currently, quite frankly, a mess. Since the Dobbs decision they have been unable to coalesce around a single unifying idea, fighting with each other and having proposed regulations voted down in elections across the country.

Most recently, Trump – championed as “most pro-life president in American history” [1] – has turned tail, saying he would leave abortion to the states if elected, disappointing anti-abortion groups that want a federal abortion ban. [2]

He knows, they know, we know: Abortion is popular. Abortion is wanted. Abortion is a winning issue.

It’s easy to get lost in the bad news, but we must remember this: they are running scared. They do not know what to do. They cannot get legislation passed. They are losing.

Now is the time to strike.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson
