I’m Christina Bohannan, and I’m running for Congress in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. I’m a mom, law professor, former engineer and state representative, and a DCCC Red to Blue candidate.

I’m running against Mariannette Miller-Meeks – one of the House’s most extreme, anti-choice Republican representatives – and this is going to be one of the closest, most hard-fought, and EXPENSIVE House races in the country.

But I know that with your help, we can flip IA-01, take back the House, and protect reproductive rights. Will you split a donation between my campaign and Sharice Davids today to help us defeat the anti-choice extremists we’re up against?

Just recently, The Wall Street Journal put a spotlight on my campaign’s commitment to protecting reproductive rights in this race, and why this issue is so personal to me.

As I said in The Wall Street Journal, I’m so grateful to have my daughter, Mira. After I had Mira, I turned to in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to try to have another child. Though I was ultimately unsuccessful, I know that that opportunity should never be taken away from a woman. But Mariannette Miller-Meeks and her fellow extremists want to do just that.

As I have emphasized time and time again, Miller-Meeks has proven herself out of touch with the needs of everyday Iowans. By endorsing extreme "life-at-conception" bills that would have outlawed IVF, she has once again abandoned the interests of her own constituents.

This race is gaining national attention, and we must harness this momentum to secure a victory in November. Will you split a donation of any amount between my and Sharice Davids's campaigns today to help us create a pro-choice, pro-woman House majority?
