Back when my daughter was born, access to abortion was under constant attack from the GOP, but the constitutional right to an abortion was still guaranteed.

I was hopeful that we could protect that right and expand it in the future.

But when this far-right Supreme Court majority struck down Roe v. Wade two years ago, our nation took a drastic turn towards the past, and the health and freedom of millions were instantly put in jeopardy.

Let me make something clear. I am running for Congress because I refuse to let my daughter grow up in a country where her right to choose is taken away.

Republicans want a national abortion ban. If they win control of Congress, they will pass it. If Trump wins, he will sign it, and it will be the law of the land. There will be no more legal states to turn to.

That’s why it’s absolutely crucial that we win this swing seat and take back the House for Democrats.

Not only will I vote against any and all abortion bans, but I will fight to codify the right to an abortion in every state in this nation.
